Lee University
An Interactive 3D Campus
Showcasing a Beautiful Campus
Working closely with Lee University, we crafted a visually rich and technically advanced 3D campus map that blends illustration, photography, and GIS precision. Built on Leaflet.js with a massive 32,764 x 32,764 pixel base map, the platform allows users to explore, rotate, and zoom across campus with ease.
Highlighted buildings and waypoints offer immersive insight into campus life, helping boost prospective student engagement and enrollment.Microsoft wanted to showcase how their cloud technologies could integrate and improve critical infrastructure and services within cities. To bring this vision to life, they tapped The Atlantic and Triptych to craft an interactive world.

The result was more than just a map—it was a dynamic storytelling platform. By combining intuitive UX with high-resolution visual detail, we created an experience that invited users to not just navigate the campus, but to imagine themselves within it.

Triptych designed two distinct versions of the Lee University campus map: a photorealistic style rooted in aerial photography and a stylized low-poly version offering a unique visual identity. This dual approach gave stakeholders creative flexibility and allowed Lee to target diverse audiences across recruitment, alumni relations, and digital storytelling initiatives—all from a single interactive platform.

Technology That Drives Results
With a focus on increasing enrollment and digital engagement, Triptych developed a custom campus exploration tool for Lee University. The experience features dynamic tile rendering, smooth zooming, waypoint-based navigation, and mobile responsiveness.
Since launch, the platform has enhanced web traffic metrics and played a measurable role in student conversion, proving the value of immersive, interactive tools in higher ed marketing.
